1000 series aluminum plate sheet is one of the series with the largest aluminum content, the purity can reach more than 99.00%.
1050 aluminum plate sheet is often used in daily necessities, lighting appliances, reflective panels, decorations, chemical industry containers, heat sinks, signs, electronics, lamps, nameplates, electrical appliances, stamping parts and other products.
1060 aluminum plate sheet is often used in signboards, billboards, building appearance decoration, bus body, high-rise and factory wall decoration, kitchen sink, lamp holder, fan blade, electronic parts, chemical equipment, sheet work pieces, deep drawing or spinning concave utensils, welding parts, heat exchanger, clock surface and disk, nameplate, kitchen utensils, decorations, reflective equipment, etc.
1070 aluminum plate is used to manufacture some structural parts with specific properties of the material, such as aluminum foil made of gaskets and capacitors, vacuum tube mesh, wire, cable protective sleeves, mesh, wire core and aircraft ventilation system parts and decorative parts.
1100 aluminum plate is generally used in utensils, heat sinks, bottle caps, printing plates, building materials, heat exchanger components, and can also be used as deep stamping products. It is widely used in various fields from cookware to industrial equipment.

1000 series aluminum is used in diverse industries: (Top-left) insulation jacketing for HVAC pipes, (top-center) refrigerator/evaporator coils, (top-right) fan blades and electrical enclosures, (far-right) precision components like clock dials, (bottom-left) kitchen cookware, and (bottom-right) traffic or advertising signs. These examples illustrate the versatility of high-purity aluminum in both consumer products and industrial applications.
Thanks to its versatility and purity, 1000 series aluminum plate/sheet finds use in a wide array of application scenarios across different sectors. Some of the prominent application areas include:
Used for refrigeration units, evaporators, and pipe insulation jacketing, due to its excellent thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. For example, 1050/1060 aluminum sheets are commonly applied as cladding for insulated pipes and as fins in heat exchangers.
Popular in roofing, siding, and facade panels (especially where reflectivity or anti-corrosion is needed), as well as for signboards and billboards. The 1060 alloy is often chosen for building decoration, exterior wall panels, and signage due to its weather resistance.
The high electrical conductivity of 1xxx series makes it ideal for electrical conductors and components. Alloy 1070/1050 is used in cable sheathing, transformer windings, capacitor foils, and electrode plates, where purity is critical. It’s also used in LED lamp bases, fan blades, and other electronic appliance parts (e.g. 1060 in fan blades and lamp holders).
1000 series aluminum (notably 1050 and 1100) is food-safe and easily formable, making it perfect for cookware, kitchen utensils, and appliances. You’ll find 1100 alloy in pot/pan bottoms, kitchen sinks, and rice cookers, as well as in household utensils and lighting reflectors. Its excellent reflectivity also suits it for cosmetic packaging and decorative items.
Often used for packaging materials like bottle caps and foil stock. For instance, 1100 alloy is used in bottle cap stock and pharmaceutical foils, while 1050/1060 in H18 temper serve in printing plates for the publishing industry. The purity ensures a clean surface ideal for printing and coating.
Although not used for high-strength structural parts, 1000 series aluminum plays a role in automotive heat shields, trim, license plates, and heat exchangers/radiators (owing to high thermal conductivity). It’s also found in certain aerospace components and fixtures where weight savings and corrosion resistance are more important than strength. For example, 1070 alloy is used in aircraft ventilation system parts and decorative trim

As an exporter, we have extensive knowledge of various aluminum packaging methods to ensure that your goods remain intact throughout the entire transportation process.
We specialize in packaging technology that is suitable for different product characteristics and transportation distances.
At YUQI METAL, customer satisfaction is paramount and we are committed to meeting specific packaging requirements and preferences.

A1: 1000 series” refers to the family of commercially pure aluminum alloys. These grades (1050, 1060, 1070, 1100, etc.) contain 99% or higher aluminum content with minimal alloying elements. This is in contrast to other series like 3000 (which has manganese), 5000 (magnesium), 6000 (magnesium & silicon), etc., that add other elements for higher strength. The high purity of 1000 series gives it exceptional corrosion resistance and thermal/electrical conductivity. However, it also means 1000-series alloys are softer and lower in strength than many other alloys. In practical terms, 1000 series aluminum is perfect for applications where formability, conductivity, or corrosion-resistance are more important than sheer strength. It’s widely used for chemical equipment, electrical components, food packaging, and decorative architectural items, but is less used for structural load-bearing parts (where 5000 or 6000 series might be chosen instead). Overall, if you need pure aluminum with excellent workability and resistance to rust, the 1000 series is the go-to choice.
A2: The common grades in this series that we supply are 1050, 1060, 1070, and 1100 aluminum. All share very high aluminum purity with slight differences in trace elements. In terms of uses: 1050 (99.5% Al) and 1060 (99.6% Al) are very similar and often used for daily necessities, lighting reflectors, signs, and general sheet metal parts. You’ll find them in cookware, lamp reflectors, nameplates, and chemical containers. 1070 (99.7% Al) is another high-purity grade commonly used for electrical applications – such as capacitor foil, cable sheathing, and wire cores – as well as specialty parts like gaskets and radiator tubes. 1100 (99.0% Al minimum, with a bit of copper) has slightly higher strength; it’s widely used in architectural trim, heat exchanger fins, storage tanks, printing plates, and food industry equipment. In short, all these alloys share similar properties, and YUQI can help recommend the best grade for your specific application if needed.
A3: We can supply 1000 series aluminum in essentially any temper that is achieved by cold-working, since these alloys are not heat-treatable (they don’t gain strength from heating & quenching). The most common tempers we provide are: O (annealed) – which is very soft and maximizes ductility for deep drawing or spinning; H12/H14 – half-hard temper, which offers a balance of strength and formability (great for general sheet uses like signage and panels); and H18 – full-hard temper for maximum rigidity (used when you need the sheet to be stiffer, e.g. printing plates or certain electronics). Other intermediate tempers (H16, H22, H24, etc.) are available on request to fine-tune the hardness. Because 1xxx aluminum is so ductile, even the harder tempers (H18) are not extremely hard – they are still quite workable compared to alloyed aluminum. If you’re unsure which temper is appropriate, our team can guide you based on your fabrication needs. In summary, all standard tempers from dead-soft O to full-hard H18 are available in the 1000 series. (For reference, these alloys cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, so temper designations only indicate cold-worked strength).
A4: Yes. In fact, pure aluminum (1000 series) is one of the easiest aluminum types to weld because it doesn’t contain tricky alloying metals. It can be welded using conventional methods (MIG, TIG) – often using 1100 filler wire for best compatibility. The welded joints in 1xxx series retain good corrosion resistance (though they will be as soft as O temper due to heat). As for anodizing, 1000 series takes very well to anodization. Its high purity means that after anodizing, you get a clear, bright oxide layer that is very corrosion-resistant. This makes it great for decorative anodized finishes (like bright reflectors or nameplates) and for protective coatings. Do note that anodizing 1000 series will not yield bright colors (since there’s no alloy metals to produce tints), but you can certainly color-dye the oxide if needed. Overall, 1000 series aluminum welds readily and anodizes beautifully, adding to its versatility. If your project requires joining sheets or improving surface hardness/corrosion via anodizing, this alloy series is a suitable choice.
A5: We take packaging and shipment very seriously for all orders. YUQI Metal has developed specific packaging methods to protect aluminum products during long-distance transit. Typically, sheets and plates are stacked on wooden pallets or crates, separated by protective layers (plastic film or paper) to prevent scratching. The stack is then wrapped with plastic stretch film to keep out moisture and strapped tightly with metal or plastic bands. For added protection, edge guards or foam may be used on the sheet corners. Finally, the pallet is enclosed in a wooden box or reinforced with a metal frame if needed, making it seaworthy for international shipping. We also label the packages clearly for easy handling. For large plates, we might use custom steel racks. All packaging materials (wood, etc.) are fumigation certified for international customs. This careful approach ensures that when you receive the aluminum plates/sheets, they are in the same perfect condition as when they left our facility. We are happy to accommodate any special packaging requests you have, and can provide photos of the packing process. Our goal is that your goods remain fully intact throughout transportation – and our experience as an exporter backs that up.
A6: Yes, YUQI Metal provides cut-to-size sheets and plates to customer requirements.
